Albert Einstein once said, â€Å"the religion of the future will be a cosmic religion. It should transcend a personal god, avoid dogmas and theology. Covering both the natural and spiritual, it should be based on a religious sense arising from the experience of all natural and spiritual and a meaningful unity. Buddhism answers this description. If there is any religion that would cope with modern scientific needs it would be Buddhism.†# Many great minds like Albert Einstein have converted or become Buddhists. Many people from the west are turning their attention towards Buddhism because of the Buddha’s simple way to life and the lack of worship or prayer to a divine being. The Buddha went in between to extremes to find the middle way. The middle way consists of the four noble t ruths and the eightfold path. The four noble truths are the most commonly shared belief between Buddhists. They are ways to eliminate desire, which will eliminate suffering. Number one says, â€Å" life consists of suffering.† Number two says, â€Å"everything is impermanent and ever-changing, we suffer because we desire those things that are impermanent.† Number three says, â€Å" the way to liberate oneself from suffering is to eliminate desire.† And number four says, â€Å" desire can be eliminated by following the eightfold path.† The eightfold path is a group of statements, they are not sequential things, they are just attitudes and actions. The eightfold path consists of right understanding, right thought, right speech, right action, right live hood, right effort, right awareness and right meditation. By following these attitudes and actions, you can achieve a life without suffering#. Many people like the fact that Buddhism has a simple way to life but one of the most appealing things about Buddhism is the lack of a divine being. Latty II Professor Marianna De Tollis LIT 2100-01 Introduction to World Literature 27 July 2014 Learning from the Journey: Dante and Odysseus’ Enlightenment Through Their Physical and Metaphysical Journeys Traveling from one place to another, physically moving, is beneficial in changing scenery and changing perspective however, physical travel is not the only travel that brings about a positive change in people. Metaphysical travel, also known as a mental or spiritual exploration, is just as powerful as a physical one. Dante, in his epic poem Inferno, and Odysseus, in the epic tale written by Homer known as The Odyssey, experience travel in the physical and mental state. Dante travels through Purgatory, Hell, and Heaven upon force to reevaluate where he has come in his life. Dante’s journey forces him to think about the cost of decisions each person makes in this life that affects the next one. Odysseus is physically separated from his family and most go through mental and physical obstacles to get back to them. He must figure out what he wants most and find the strength to fight for it. Though Dante and Odysseus experience contrasting adventures and tribulations both individual ’s journeys change their future courses and give them enlightenment into the rest of their lives. Both forms of travel are valid for growth and necessary to bring about positive and new perspective to Dante and Odysseus. Dante’s enlightenment was obtained through his metaphysical journey.

However, the total deaths of male youth are higher than the female youth death rate in 2006 to 2010. The data of the unemployed people in operations shows that the persons with no qualification contributes are highly unemployed with respect to other persons those who have qualifications of bachelor degr ee, tertiary under bachelor degree and higher secondary. The second variable that is average youth suicide rates is dependent on the first variable that is unemployment percentage in respect of highest qualification. Therefore, it can be assumed that the persons mainly the youths (aged between 15-24 years) who are jobless or in search of job try to commit suicide owing to depression and thus leading to increase in death rate (Sallis, 2014). Therefore, the management of the educational institute must focus in providing education to the students in better way, so that the students with basic qualification have the capability in acquiring job in this nation. In addition, the management of the educational institute should also focus on marketing activities in promoting their institute in order to attract those youth who are not willing to study. The research question that can be concluded from this report is that- Can the management of the educational institute help the youth to acquiring better education and acquire jobs in future. Conclusions From the above assignment, it can be concluded that unemployment is one of the reason for the increasing suicide rates of youth in New Zealand. However, jobless youth commits suicide due to depression that arises from being jobless. Thus, the management of the school must focus in providing technical education to the youth, so that they do not face any difficulty in acquiring jobs in future.
